Rachel is an actress, film and theatre director, screenwriter, and playwright.

For over fourteen years, she has been the co-artistic director of New York indie theatre company Less Than Rent with her husband, James Presson. LTR has developed dozens of new plays and musicals and has presented sixteen full productions in many venues across Manhattan including the New Ohio, HERE Arts Center, La Mama, 59E59, Walkerspace, Theatre Row, Wild Project, and Horse Trade Theater Group.

As an actor, her work has been seen on tv shows including: I’m Dying Up Here (Showtime), The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show (Netflix), Modern Love (Prime), Younger (TVLand), and many more. Her self-produced web series Royally, in which she starred as a party princess con-artist, won the Critics Award at the New York Television Festival, and she won Best Actress in Comedy at both NYTVF and the Indie Series Awards in LA.

Hiawatha, her debut short film that she wrote and directed will begin its festival run in 2025.

She lives on the Lower East Side of Manhattan with her husband and dog.
